The Lamson Design team consists of four design professionals with expertise in advertising, publication and collateral design, web design, and development and corporate identity work.
Dale Lamson
PARTNER

Dale has a BFA in Communication Graphics from Edinboro University. Before opening the firm, he held positions with a national trade show/exhibit design company, directed the graphic design department of FRCH in Cincinnati, worked in a corporate position at the Clopay Corporation and cut his annual report design teeth under the guidance of the late George Tassian at GTO.

Jon Enia
PARTNER

Jon is a 2001 graduate of the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in visual communication. With over 10 years of expertise in graphic design ranging from to print to web and interactive, he has worked with such clients as Cengage Learning, TriHealth and LexisNexis.

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Jon is a diehard Reds and Bengals fan. He especially loves the month of March because at that point, his favorite teams are always tied for first. Jon and his wife have a son, Jake, and a daughter, Jill.


Barb Smith
DESIGNER

Barb is a 1993 graduate of the Art Academy of Cincinnati with a bachelor's degree in Communication Arts. In the graphic design industry for over 17 years, 12 with Lamson Design, she is the resident publication guru. Having worked on annual reports, newsletters, and magazines for a wide variety of companies and organizations, Barb creates impactful designs as well as long-lasting relationships with her clients.

Barb is a huge Cincinnati Reds fan and optimistically thinks every year is "their year." In her free time, she is an avid photographer and golfer.

Thommy Long
DESIGNER

Thommy is a 1998 graduate of the Art Academy of Cincinnati with a BFA in Communication Arts. Since joining the team in 2003, Thommy has been creating designs for such clients as Fifth Third Bank, Miami University and TriHealth.

Thommy has been teaching graphic design classes at the Art Academy of Cincinnati since 2007. Besides teaching, Thommy enjoys playing drums, going to concerts and enjoying family time with his wife and sons, Julian and Griffin.
